My card for July is the Six of Pentacles reversed. You may be experiencing imbalance in your relationships, commitments, and money matters. Be mindful of how much you are giving, but make sure you are giving to yourself. A little self-care goes a long way. Kambaba stone to restore balance to the body and spirit as well as to soothe troubled minds. Preseli Blue (the Stonehenge stone) for your solar plexus to stimulate your willpower and inspire courage.
At the beginning of the month, I read a post from Gottess that really inspired me to make some changes and one of the things I did was to revamp my Instagram profile. Since setting up my profile many years ago, I don’t think I’ve ever changed anything other than my photo. And now I love it. It feels more me. It seems like a small thing, but it was a way to take my power back. And that felt good.
Did my nails again and this time I chose Essie’s Damsel in a Dress.
Eric bought some Kraken rum to try. Loving the bottle and the label.
He also got these really delicious Grapefruit hefeweizen beers and they were the perfect summer weekend drink.
Someone reached out to me about some genealogical records that their mom had sent to my dad years ago that apparently my dad never got around to returning before he died. Luckily, I have all of his genealogy records so I was able to find these two albums. They were a goldmine of information, so I spent a couple weeks scanning them before I returned them back to the family. So glad I was able to find them and give them back.
Ramses was such a help during my marathon scanning sessions.
I took another class from Professor of Words, this one was part of her sci-fi series and it focused on Blade Runner. One of my all-time favorite movies, favorite books, favorite soundtracks. Also, that photo on the right of Harrison Ford? I had that poster hanging in my bedroom in 1982 when this movie came out.
From now until the end of time I will never not share photos of my Bloodmilk jewels. Wearing my XIII and my moonstone Planchette moth along with my Styx strand from Lost Star Cravt.
I’ve been wearing this Nadja perfume oil from Ms. Bathory’s Apothecary. It smells of sandalwood and clove and is absolutely delicious.
I also got a fun package from her later in the month with a new perfume to try and two soaps.
I also had to finally bite the bullet and replace my two eyeliners that I’d used down to the nub. I really love Urban Decay and this time I chose Mainline and Rockstar.
Anyway, it’s hot as balls here in Texas and we’re hoping for a little relief. I’m dreaming of fall overcast days and rain storms.
