Looking Forward to Fall

Now that it’s September, I definitely feel that the transition to fall is upon us. Even though in Texas we are still in the 90s, I can’t deny that the Tuesday after Labor Day always marks that season change for me. My summer white handbag went back into the closet, and I’ve picked a decidedly fall color for my manicure this week. The other thing that tells me that fall is here? The new season on tv. Now, I don’t really watch a lot of tv, due to not being home a whole lot. But, there are a few shows that I try to keep up with. And starting on Thursday there will be a new one added to the mix.

I’ve been looking forward to this one for awhile. I haven’t read the books, although they’ve been newly acquired and are waiting patiently on my bookshelf. And since it is all-vampires-all-the-time around my house (well, for me anyway), this one looks like a winner.

And of course, the other show I’m looking forward to?

Gossip Girl. Can’t wait for this one to start next week. xoxo

Fall is really a time of year that I love. I wish that we lived in a climate where we could enjoy fall a bit more. Texas seems to be basically way hot, or cold. There’s really no spring or fall to speak of. At least that’s how it seems to me.

But Fall also means the countdown to one of my favorite things…

Halloween. I love Halloween, in case you hadn’t guessed from my past posts on it here and here.

And no October is complete without a trip to the State Fair. Eric looks forward to that every year.

Now, I’m wishing there was more pumpkin bread left.
