My love affair with Fashion Week has gone from NY to London and now to Paris. Oh I cannot wait to be in Paris in February! The photos that started flooding my feed yesterday of the Louis Vuitton show were so striking I knew I had to find a video of the show.
As Marc Jacobs’ final collection, I thought it was the perfect culmination of the past with the escalators, the corridors, the carousel and the fountain – in black.
It was solumn, gothic, stunning, and full of the lavish detail that we’ve come to expect from Louis Vuitton.
Beading, peacock feathers, lace, and leather in only black with the only counterpoint being denim jeans. I really can’t get enough of watching this show.
