Smoky Chic

opi you don t know jacques nail polish

Fall is here, and I’ve been anxiously awaiting the slightly cooler temps to break out some of my new fall favorites. Of course, nothing is better than the new nail polish collections coming out each season. This season is no different. I’ve always been a huge fan of OPI, and I’m loving their France Collection. After stumbling across a review of one of their new colors, You Don’t Know Jacques!, I decided to give it a try at my last manicure appointment. In the bottle, it looks sort of a muddy brown. But, when it’s on your nails, it is such a chameleon of a color! In some light it appears taupey brown, in some it appears purple, and in others it is more of a smoky gray. I just love this color!! I’m definitely adding this one to my collection!

I also stumbled across a new find at Sephora…the Sephora by OPI line. They’ve got some fabulous colors in this collection, but the two that really drew my eye were these two…

Metro Chic

Metro Chic is what they call a dark smoke. It’s got a lot more purple in it that the Jacques color. It was sold out the first time I attempted to order, so I signed up for notification when it came back in. This color really is what it’s name implies, I can’t wait to try it out on my nails.

Never Enough Shoes

Never Enough Shoes is black with multi-color glitter. I think this one is going to look fabulous on my toes, and I hope to give it a try this weekend.

I’ve also been on the hunt for a great pair of ankle boots or booties. Since I already have a pair of black ankle boots, I really wanted something a little different to mix up my wardrobe. After some looking around, I decided on these apt.9 from Kohl’s. I couldn’t beat the price.

I still have shopping on my mind, and of course, that First Date Blouse in Ash from is gorgeous.

And this is such a fun, flirty look too from Miss Sixty!
