Rollerballs are a great way to use essential oils topically and create your own blends. Typically, rollerballs are made with with one or more essential oils and then diluted with a carrier oil. One of the rollers I use frequently is what I call my “So Sleepy” roller using Lavender and Cedarwood combined with a carrier oil. I thought it would be helpful to do a quick tutorial on how to make a roller. It is super easy to do!
You can order the roller balls online at a bunch of different places. They are basically a glass vial with a roller filament on top and then a screw top lid.
To make the So Sleepy roller, I use ten drops of Cedarwood and five drops of Lavender. Then I fill the roller the rest of the way with fractionated coconut oil.
I use my sleepy roller every night before bed by rolling the blend on my wrists. It is relaxing a supports a night of restful sleep.
And once you’ve made one roller, you’ll be looking for ways to make more.
